Description:

With St. Patrick's Day around the corner, what better way to celebrate than to come see a poignant Irish play? You will be transported in the home of the five Mundy sisters, living together in County Donegal. Based on the childhood memories of young Michael, son of one of the sisters, he recalls the daily struggle and moments of joy during a late summer in 1936, when his missionary priest uncle returns from Africa, and he meets his father for the first time. Coinciding with these events, the family acquires its first radio, and music fills the home, daring the sisters to dance. Arlington Friends of the Drama is one of the country's oldest community theatres, now celebrating its 100th season!
